Baby Swimwear: Swimwear That Offers The Best Sun Protection Posted By: Lenny Dalembert

Though a baby's skin has the best ability to regenerate, a really bad childhood sunburn can instantly increase a person's risk of developing skin cancer and other woes once he/she reaches his/her forties. Those two-piece swimsuits may be oh-so-cute, but they do not provide much coverage and body parts that are most prone to get sunburnt are typically completely exposed. You may slather your young one's forehead, nose, cheeks and shoulders with thick gobs of sunscreen, but that will not be enough protection from the harsh rays of the sun which are quite intense from 10 in the morning until three in the afternoon. Sunburn can be really uncomfortable for bubs and tots - no amount of aloe vera gel or Noxzema can take away the itchiness and stinging pain of baked skin for the first two days after a trip to the beach. Plus, there are children with really sensitive skin and the sunburn turns into blisters, and that's the last thing you want your beloved child to experience after a day of fun under the sun.
